Our meeting on Wednesday 12 July 2023 was a Club Business Meeting held on-line.
It is a little bit early in the year for there to be much business to discuss, but it was an opportunity for our Treasurer to remind members that their subscriptions are now due!
The Club has also made good progress with the annual qualification for Rotary Foundation Grants, and this should prove helpful in the coming months. There was also an update on our progress with the charity Lend With Care through which we sponsor the start-up of new small businesses in developing countries. We were also advised that a new load of aid for our contacts in Ukraine is being scheduled.
Next week we are getting a visit from the New District Governor, Suraiya Kassamally, which we are eagerly anticipating.
