Dictionaries Delivered Safely

Our annual project, providing dictionaries to the final year class at Earlsmead Primary School in Harrow was able to go ahead on schedule despite the current lock-down and requirement for physical distancing.

Our Community Chair Mark was able to take delivery of 80 dictionaries, and enhance them with the definitions of “Rotary Club” and “Rotarian” – why are those terms not in our dictionaries? – and deliver them to the school on Tuesday 07 July 2020.

Head Teacher Mrs. Norma Marshall was delighted with the dictionaries and was grateful that the Rotary Club of Northwick Park was continuing with its work despite all the continuing social requirements and difficulties.

Mrs. Doherty the year six teacher said “we will make sure the dictionaries are used and given excellent homes!”
