Some eighteen members of the Club and their friends made their way to the Macmillan Coffee morning hosted by the Club at Sydney and Lucille’s home.
Macmillan nurses specialise in the care of patients suffering with cancer, so that “No one has to face cancer alone”.
There were a number of fundraising activities for people to take part in, and there was a wide selection of biscuits and cakes to go with the coffee.
We will wait to hear how well we did, but we know that this event will be repeated in future years!
