On Wednesday 20 December 2023, our Club completed its Christmas Collection activities for the year 2023. We were very kindly hosted once again by the Morrisons Superstore in Hatch End for our final day.
Unlike the last time, there was no glorious sunny weather, and the management team at the store very kindly allowed us to collect inside the store.
The final day was judged a great success, and a significant sum was collected – more than £400 – all of which will be used to fund our projects in the local community at home and abroad. Members of the public donated most generously, taking advantage of the buckets, the card machine and the QR code on the posters.
President Mike and all the members thanked Morrisons for their kind permission as well as thanking all the customers for their generous support.
