Dr Valdez delivered detailed information on all the headings listed and concluded with :- Vaccines are amongst humanity’s greatest achievements.They protect us, our loved ones,and our communities from dangerous diseases. and increasingly, they hold promise of treatments for conditions previously thought untreatable. In the UK our well organised immunisation programme has saved countless lives and continues to evolve.
It was a privilege to have Dr Valdez as our speaker He has an impressive CV :- A Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines Manila – College of Medicine. In 2023 he was awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship, the UK government’s international scholarship program aimed at developing global leaders. A Master of Science in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing—a joint program between the London School of Economics (LSE) and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) In recognition of his contributions to public health, Dr. Valdez was named a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health. Currently, he leads Real World Evidence Delivery at Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd., where he is at the forefront of transforming healthcare data into actionable insights to improve patient outcomes and inform policy.
