Nature Reserve http://Bentley Old Vicarage Nature Reserve
Jane Skelly, the warden of Bentley Old Vicarage Nature reserve, outlined the history of the Nature Reserve in Harrow Weald.
Where the reserve is now was the vicarage of All Saints’ Church, built along with the church in 1848. The vicarage was demolished in 1955. A few of the trees on the site are from the old vicarage garden but most have grown up since then. In 1987 a group of volunteers took over the site and were sponsored by the http://Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust
Now its managed by volunteers from the Harrow Nature Conservation Forum.
The reserve now also houses the Forest School, an educational partnership between Harrow Council, All Saints’ Church and John Lyon’s Charity. A trained Forest School tutor
supported by volunteers works with children between the ages of 4 and 18 from schools in Harrow. They learn about local flora, fauna and outdoor skills, which develop
confidence and team building.

The reserve is at the rear of the Church in Uxbridge Road in Harrow Weald. Visitors are welcome.
