Litter Picking Community

Northwick Park Rotary club members, together-with Kenton  school pupils and community volunteers, picked up 4o plus bags of litter  in Woodcock Park in one hour.

In response to Keep Britain Tidy Great British Spring Clean campaign , St Gregory’s Science College Eco Warriors, organised  a Litter Picking  community  event,and included  pupils from three other local schools – Uxendon Manor Primary School, Mount Stewart Junior School and BrightStart Childcare .
The young people were supported in their community litter pick by The Rotary Club of Northwick Park, staff from BigShots Golf, as well as representatives from St Luke’s Hospice, and The Friends of Woodcock Park. Local residents and Councillor Sunita Hirani joined in The event was supported by Brent Council, and provided most of the litter picking equipment.
Mr Prindiville, St Gregory’s Headteacher, said, “I am very proud of our Eco
Warriors for organising this annual event in support of The Great British Spring
Clean. It was fantastic to see so many people of all ages working together to
keep our beautiful park litter free.”
