Through our support
for Vision Aid Overseas, we are able to find a new home for
unwanted spectacles..
We collect the spectacles from a number of sources, and
despatch them regularly to Vision Aid Overseas in Crawley,
Surrey. They arrange for the prescription to be determined, and
the spectacles are then labelled and made ready to go overseas.
They arrive in one of several countries in Africa with a group
of fully trained UK staff who are able to provide Free Clinics.
People just turn up, their sight is examined, and they are
prescribed with a pair of spectacles that will enable them to
see.
Often people are able to return to work once they can see, and
are able to start producing income for their families again.

I would like to be make contact with the Rotarian organising
the spectacle collections so that I can deliver a number of
unwanted spectacles. I understand that I must dispose of the
spectacle cases myself as the Rotary Club cannot use them. You
