The Holst Hall at James Allen Girls was the venue for the London-wide final of the Rotary Young Musician Competition 2015.

Winner of the voice competition, Bryony, moves on to the Regional level of the competition.

Runner-up in the voice competition Alexander receives his trophy from his worship, the Mayor of the London Borough of Southwark, Councill Sunil Chopra. He also goes forward to the Regional Final of the competition.

Third place in the voice competition went to Bruno who clearly has a great future ahead of him.

Winner of the instrumental section was violinist Matt who played pieces composed by Svenson and Leclair. Here he receives his trophy from the Mayor. Matt moves forward to the Regional Final.

Runner-up in the instrumental section was Rachele who performed pieces on the piano composed by Chopin and Poulenc. She also moves forward to the Regional Final of the competition.

Third place in the instrumental competition went to Alexander who will be singing at the Regional Final, proving that he has more than one string to his bow!

The judges Bob Bridges (left) and Max Rush (right) listen attentively to the contestants before interviewing each contestant and then considering their verdicts and the end. All told, they had a very difficult task in agreeing who should go forward to the next round.
