International Service International Service is one of the Four Avenues of Service followed by Rotary Clubs. It provides Rotarians with an opportunity to work with Charities and overseas Rotary Clubs on providing assistance to those in need. The aim in providing help to people overseas is to build international goodwill and ensure that there is a future for peaceful co-existence. The Rotary Club of Northwick Park in actively engaged in the following projects:
In recent years, the Club has sent 300 shoeboxes filled with gifts for children in the Balkans, has funded a sightsaving camp through SightSavers International, has paid for a well to be sunk for a village in Tanzania provided aid to victims of the Turkish Earthquake Disaster, the South East Asian Tsunami, the Pakistani Earthquake and taken part in a number of other projects.
