Inter Care is a
Medical Charity based in Leicester that collects ethical and
non-ethical medicines and equipment that can be used overseas in
developing countries.
Medicines are distributed as samples to many General
Practitioners, and if they are not used by the GP, they go to
waste. Provided these medicines have at least 6 months to their
Best Before date, Intercare can use them. Similarly, many
pharmacists may find that they also hold stock of preparations
that are not selling, and Intercare will gladly accept such
preparations as a donation.
Intercare can also use a wide range of surgery and operating
theatre consumables in their clinics overseas.
Authorised Rotarians carry identification documents, and the
Rotary Club requests that medicines are only handed over to
Rotarians producing such documents. The drugs are shipped to
Intercare using a secure courier company.
I would like to be make contact with the Rotarian organising
collections of unwanted medines, and surgery consumables. The
medicines I have access to are in good condition and have more
than 6 months to run to their best before date. I can be
contacted at the following postal address:
