Following a visit to the Ukraine by two of our members in Summer 2011, the Rotary Club of Northwick Park is supporting “Felsted Aid for Deprived Childen”, an organisation delivering aid from the UK to a clinic near Chernobyl in the Ukraine, specialising in 2nd generation genetic disorders in children under 18. Our goal is to re-equip Felsted Aid with replacements for retired vehicles, so they can deliver more aid again.
The event takes place at the Watford Hilton Hotel (WD25 8HA) Tel 01923 220 836. on Sunday 29th April 2012 at 7pm. The tickets are £35.00 each which includes a three-course dinner and dancing to a live big band.
There is also a brochure being produced for the event, and advertisements are welcomed.
