The Book Aid
International Project makes good sense to everyone. The goal is
to make good use of used books in English speaking countries in
the developing world.
All too often a change of syllabus at a school renders their
textbooks obsolete when the books themselves still have years of
use in them. Rotarians collect books that are less than 10 years
old and in reasonably good condition. The books are collected in
a central location and then taken by the Rotarians to the Book
Aid International depot in Camberwell.
Books that are not of appropriate quality have to be destroyed
as Book Aid International cannot store unwanted books, and the
glue used in book-making makes recycling of the paper
problematic.

I would like to be make contact with the Rotarian organising
collections of books for Book Aid International. The books I
have access to are in reasonably good condition and are less
than 10 years old. I can be contacted at the following postal
