Rotary Club of Northwick Park Banner Register
Rotarians like to exchange Banners when they visit other Rotary
Clubs.
The Banner is usually about 15cm wide and about 30cm long, and
contains words and an illustration that represents their Club. The Banner of the
Rotary Club of Northwick Park has a graphic of the Old School at Harrow School,
a famous school located in its territory.
Members of the Club have
visited many Rotary Clubs in many countries. They take the Banner of their Club
with them on these visits, and present it to the Club President. Often the
President will return the favour by presenting his Club's Banner. The same
process happens when a Rotarian visits the Rotary Club of Northwick
Park.
A selection from our collection of Banners is normally on display
at each meeting of the Club to act as a reminder that we are a world fellowship
united in the ideal of service.
