Angela brings greetings from Brunswick (Oct 13)

Our speaker on Wednesday 13th October 2010 was the Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar under the care of our Club this year, Angela Neumann. Angela comes from Brunswick (Braunschweig) in Germany – District 1800, where she is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Braunschweig. Angela has chosen a number of different areas of study in her academic career including public health, specialist journalism, economics and politics. So far she has worked in Germany, Italy, the UK and Australia. She has chosen a course in Photo-journalism at the University of Westminster and is very keen to become integrated in the photographic opportunities that are available in the local community. She first came across Rotary when one of her previous bosses kept disappearing to a regular weekly meeting and asked him where he went! Both her parents trained in Graphic Design, so she is confident that she will settle to a career in photo-journalism. We look forward to seeing her at various club meetings and events, and were delighted to know that she will be at the District Conference at Eastbourne.
